United Recording, one of the most iconic recording studios in Hollywood, was designed and built by the renowned Bill Putnam and opened in 1958. This legendary facility has been the birthplace of some of the most influential albums, from artists like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, and Eric Clapton to contemporary acts such as Green Day, Radiohead, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Alabama Shakes. In early 2023, the studio ceased operations as a full-time recording facility and transitioned into a venue for events.
